PLEASE READ
I understand that my child will report to the After-School Program class on his/her own. The ASP Committee and your child’s teacher are not able to escort your child to class. Additionally, the front office does not always receive registration lists from the vendors, so please make sure that your child and his/her teacher know when and where to go for their ASP classes.
If my child is absent, I will notify the ASP course instructor directly. I understand that my contact information, including telephone and email, will be provided to class instructors during the registration process.
Classes begin after dismissal at 3:15 pm and ending times vary. Please confirm the pick up time. I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure my child is picked up in the classroom on-time.
Holidays/ School Closure. I understand that there are no ASP classes if school is closed for a full or partial day.
Cancellation. I understand that due to unforeseen circumstances, classes may need to be cancelled unexpectedly. If your child arrives at class and discovers that it is cancelled, your child should go to the front office and notify a BW employee to contact a parent.
Makeup classes/ Refunds: . I understand that makeup classes are at the sole discretion of the instructor. If you need to withdraw from a class, refunds, if any, are in the sole discretion of the instructor. The ASP Committee has no ability to obtain refunds.
By enrolling in a BW After-School Program class, I agree that I understand and will abide by the terms of the program.

PARENTS
- Remind your child of the class name and room location on days when they have an after-school course.

- Email your teacher and, if applicable, any after school childcare with the course name, day of the week, and location information.
- Request contact information for the course’s on-site instructor.
- Notify the instructor if your child will be absent from class.
- Notify the instructor if your child should report to IKIDU or YMCA after school class.
- Pick up your child on time. Please keep in mind that the Main Office will be closed by the time the programs end.
- Consider packing an extra snack for your child.
- Make sure your child is wearing clothes that are appropriate for after-school activities.
- After-school courses will not be held when school is closed for a full or half-day.
VENDORS

- Be clear and transparent about course expectations, rules, requirements and policies.
- Make sure all children are under your supervision at all times during class until they are signed out by the appropriate caregiver.
- Provide your instructors with a list of parents’ cell phone numbers to be kept on-site during class.
- Be respectful of the teachers’ rooms during class and leave the room exactly as you found it.
- Maintain a list of the children’s teachers in case a child does not show up for class.
- Sign in at the front office upon arrival for each class day and wear a visitor’s badge.
- We understand that unforeseen circumstances may cause a class to be cancelled or an instruction to be late. If this should happen, please notify the Front Office as soon as possible so a school-wide announcement can be made, AND make every effort to contact parents.
TEACHERS
- Please let us know if there are any questions/concerns/comments regarding the use of your rooms.
- Allow after-school courses to begin on time and run on the planned dates.
